Topic: ‘Profound Instruction on the Four Syllables of Mahamudra’
Bookings have now opened for this year’s UK retreat led by Tsoknyi Rinpoche, which will be on the theme ‘Profound Instruction on the Four Syllables of Mahamudra’.
It will run from April 14-20 and again take place at Bruton School for Girls, Somerset. To secure your place, please complete the 2019 booking form at the end of this letter. Please read this letter carefully.
This retreat is only for students who have received pointing out instructions from Tsoknyi Rinpoche or Mingyur Rinpoche.
Participation involves the commitment to be present for the whole six days. As usual, this will be a silent retreat in order to help us absorb the teachings.
There is a choice of a bed in a single, twin, triple or dorm room. Dorm accommodation is in rooms ranging from 4 to 8 beds. Some of the dorms are divided into cubicles with visual privacy. Only choose a twin room if you have agreed to share with someone.
Retreat fee for 6 days: £250.00
Single room, shared bathroom: £400.00. Total: £650.0
Twin, shared bathroom, per person: £260.00. Total: £510.00
Dorm, per person: £200.00. Total: £450.00
Offsite: Meals only package: £100.00. Total: £350.00
Offsite no meals: Total: £250.00
All meals are vegetarian and you can select vegan and/or gluten free options when booking. No other options are available.
There is a Special Requests box at the end of the form where you can let us know if you have special needs relating to mobility or anything else. Also, please note in this box if you know you will arrive after 5.15pm.
We’re using an automated booking system again, so we’re requesting everyone to initially pay JUST a deposit of £200 to secure your place. Payment can be made by PayPal (with a debit or credit card if you don’t have an account), by online bank transfer, or cheque. (Full payment details on booking form.)
The balance can be paid at any time before or at the retreat registration on the 14th April. Be sure to email Rosie if you send a payment before the 14th: :email@example.com.
When you submit your booking you will get an automated reply acknowledging your booking and payment. This email is also confirmation that you have received your choice of room. There is no need to email Michelle to enquire whether you got your choice of room, as the automated reply is confirmation of that. For cancellation between 1st and 28th February there will be a £50 fee.
For cancellation between 1st and 31st March there will be a £100 fee.
For cancellation between 1st and 14th April, you will lose your deposit.
We will operate a bursary fund again this year, giving people an opportunity to apply for help in case of financial hardship. There will be an opportunity to apply for a bursary when booking. Registration opens on April 14th from 2.00 – 5.15 pm and will take place in Cumberlege House off the main car park. We usually finish about 10.30 on the final day, the 20th.
