The makers of Dreamlike Journey, a video documentary on Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s 2011 pilgrimage to holy sites in India, Nepal and Bhutan, have made the film available for free viewing.

The film shows the inauguration of a nunnery in northern Nepal, visits to some of Buddha Shakyamuni’s sacred sites, and pilgrims’ ceremonies in the sacred caves of Bhutan.

It also features teachings by H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa, H.E. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, H.H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche Yangsi, and of course Tsoknyi Rinpoche.

The movie was made by Sofia Abboud, daughter of dharma translator Gerardo Abboud, and for her next project Tsoknyi Rinpoche has requested Sofia to make a documentary on Khamtrul Rinpoche.

The Eighth Khamtrul Rinpoche was one of Rinpoche’s main teachers and the Ninth Khamtrul Rinpoche is due to teach at the 2015 UK Easter Retreat. The Khamtrul lineage was highly influential in propagating the Drukpa Kagyu tradition in Kham, Eastern Tibet, and is famous for its tradition of life-long meditators or togdens.
